My Folder for the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua

This is my continuing effort to make Saints Folders for the popular, and even some little known, feast days throughout the liturgical year, as a learning tool in instructing my daughter in the faith that is fun and exciting to her. And I love to color too!  Please feel free to use this folder if you find it useful.

Of our journey toward heaven, St. Therese of Lisieux tells us,  "Begin now...Believe me, don't wait until tomorrow to begin becoming a saint."

We can learn so much about a holy life by getting to know the Saints.  After all, they are the ones who have made it to heaven !
The Feast of St. Anthony of Padua is June 13.   St. Anthony has a special place in my heart.  He's helped me find countless lost articles, especially keys.  :)   He is also the Patron Saint of the town in Guatemala where my daughter was born, and every June 13, that little town has a St. Anthony festival and parade.

The prayer I chose:

Unfailing Prayer to Saint Anthony

Blessed be God in His Angels and in His Saints.
O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore of you to obtain for me (request). The answer to my prayer may require a miracle. Even so, you are the saint of Miracles.  O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.  Amen.

Coloring pages of Saint Anthony are hard to find on the internet.   So I decided to order this story coloring book about St. Anthony.   You can get one HERE, HERE and HERE, for anywhere from $2.00 to $4.50.  (The last link has them on sale for $2.00).

Click on HERE to see a listing, in order, of all the Saints and Feast Day folders I've made for the liturgical year to get ideas for coloring pages, and prayers and saint biographies; or check out the top right of my sidebar and click on the picture of the Archangels folder.

Also, Xhonane at Familia Catolica has a similar post HERE listing the liturgical folders she has made thus far, and she will add to it as well.
